Two Factor Authentication is strongly advised for schools by the National Cyber Security Centre. The FortiTokens confirm the identity of users by adding a second factor to the authentication process, through physical or mobile application-based tokens.
School staff will have the ability to access email, internet, teleconferencing, file sharing, finance and HR platforms from their remote work sites. This includes access to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications in the cloud, such as Microsoft Office 365, as well as a secure connection to your school’s or office network. The FortiToken software will verify their identity and provide multifactor authentication.
